Felicity Jones was born in England and is primarily known for the actress who was Jane Hawking on the critically-acclaimed film The Theory of Everything. Jones started acting at age 12 and worked on numerous TV shows, plays and movies. Her acting career started with the television movie The Treasure Seekers. She then appeared as Ethel Hallow in The Worst Witch, and The sequel Weirdsister college. Her first feature film Flashbacks of a Fool (which she was a part of), Young Ruth, she continued to act in other movies. In films like The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 she achieved notoriety for her character. Her role on the screen in The Theory of Everything was what earned her her first Oscar nomination. Jones, who played Stephen Hawking's wife second in this biopic, received a lot of praise both from critics as well as viewers due to the manner in which she played her. Inferno was the next film she starred in that starred Tom Hanks. Jones received the British Artist of 2016 award from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles, because of her outstanding ability and dedication.
